Week #6: Free Shoot

Far shot: Large crowd gathered outside of Eugene, OR Wayne Lyman Morse United States Courthouse on 11/6/20. This protest was titled the "Rally for Democracy" and organized by coalitions of progressive groups from the Lane county area. The event remained peaceful despite a few hecklers that permeated the event or shouted from their cars as they drove by.

Medium shot: Protesters were on the move as they marched towards Maurie Jacobs Park from the downtown Eugene, Oregon Morse courthouse building chanting mixtures of  "Black Lives Matter!" "Fuck Trump!" and "Count Every Vote!" The march was titled as the "Rally for Democracy," and BLM protests that have been going on daily since May joined together in unity.

Closeup Shot: A masked protester who would only identify himself as Jacob B., 23,  waits anxiously as he stands amongst the sometimes solemn, sometimes joyful crowd while listening to a speaker outside of the Wayne Lyman Morse Courthouse. "Biden was never my first choice for President, but I do believe that despite all the time he spent in Washington he still has some shred of morality and can put his time there to use," stated Jacob B.
